Zum Ende der Saison eröffnet sich dem hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt die Chance, nach mehr als halbjähriger reiner Livestream-Präsenz wieder live vor Publikum zu spielen. Im Abschiedskonzert von Andrés Orozco-Estrada, der mit Ende dieser Spielzeit seine siebenjährige sehr erfolgreiche Tätigkeit als Chefdirigent des hr-Sinfonieorchesters Frankfurt beendet, ist einmal mehr die Star-Geigerin Hilary Hahn zu Gast. Als »Principal Guest« der Saison kann man sie in der Alten Oper Frankfurt mit dem raren Violinkonzert von Albert Ginastera erleben sowie mit der berühmten »Carmen-Fantasie« von Pablo de Sarasate. Eröffnet wird der erste Teil von einer wenig bekannten Mendelssohn-Ouvertüre und der zweite wird gekrönt von Brahms' mächtiger 1. Sinfonie.

At the end of the season, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony has the chance to play live in front of an audience again after more than half a year of live streaming only. The farewell concert of Andrés Orozco-Estrada, who will end his very successful seven-year tenure as Music Director of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony at the end of this season, will once again feature star violinist Hilary Hahn. As »Principal Guest« of the season, she can be heard in the Alte Oper Frankfurt with the rare violin concerto by Albert Ginastera as well as the famous »Carmen Fantasy« by Pablo de Sarasate. The first part ist opend by a little-known Mendelssohn overture, and the second is crowned by Brahms' powerful Symphony No. 1.

The concerts, which last approximately one hour, are possible while adhering to a comprehensive distance and hygiene concept, which includes, among other things, modified seating plans, new entrance and exit situations, as well as the omission of breaks and catering.
